Véronique Hamelin’s Presentation
Véronique Hamelin was born on August 22, 1990. She studied at McGill University in Québec, in 2009 and 2010, allowing her to obtain a certificate in Science, specializing in Animal biology.
She studied an additional year at the Université de Montréal, in Arts and Science. Between 2011 and 2014, she studied at Lionel Groulx College, a general and professional education college located in Québec, leading on to obtaining a Technical diploma in Animal Health. In November 2014, she obtained her certification with the l’ATSAQ (Association des Techniciennes en Santé Animale du Québec).
All along her studies, Véronique Hamelin also participated in English immersion courses at Jacques Labrie school, which now allows her to be bilingual in English and in French.
Her Career Path
All these experiences are the reason why she is a resourceful, helpful, autonomous, dynamic, professional person, and much more. When you meet her, you are taken by her warmth and her altruism.
These qualities showed themselves along her various professional experiences. In fact, from May 2005 until March 2006, Véronique Hamelin practiced as a groom at the Écuries d’Aubrac, where she took care of horses and their environment. For three months, starting in June 2006, Véronique Hamelin worked for Nestlé in Canada, where she was in charge of visiting businesses, drawing up inventories and preparing orders. Then, from June 2007 until August 2007, she was a part-time student representative for the same enterprise.
Afterwards, from December 2007 until May 2010, Véronique Hamelin worked as a General Worker at the La Bande Animée pet shop. She worked as a salesperson, cashier, animal care giver and cleaner.
From September 2011 until May 2012, Véronique Hamelin was an Animal caregiver at the Centre Vétérinaire de Laval ; then, until May 2014, she became a technician helper for the same establishment. She helped particularly in intensive care, Xrays, preparing for surgery and client services.
Since then, she works at the Fontainebleau Veterinary Clinic, as a Technician in Animal Health.
